UNATTENDED CHILDREN
Infants or young children should never be left unattended in a motor vehicle. A variety of hazards can arise, even if the adult's absence is of short duration. Such hazards include an outbreak of fire, breathing problems on a warm day (all windows closed) and accidental trapping of children in electronically operated windows - with serious or fatal consequences for the children or infants involved.
