Print this page       CAR ROOF RACKS

Roof racks must be securely fitted and must never be loaded in such a fashion as to adversely affect the stability of the vehicle in motion. Care must also be taken to ensure that whatever is carried on the roof rack does not obstruct the driver's view of the road in any direction and that the load is not too heavy or likely to fall off. Roof rack mountings and load securement should be checked after loading.
